A Tribute to a Master of Sound and His Generosity.

This website is a space dedicated to the memory of José Luis Díaz, an indispensable figure in cinematic sound in Argentina and the rest of Latin America. His passing in 2020 left a profound void, but also an invaluable legacy that we could not allow to fade away.

We have decided to bring his website back online, exactly as he maintained it, for one fundamental reason: his passion for teaching. José Luis was not only an exceptional sound director, but also a tireless curator who dedicated countless hours to selecting essential reading materials and videos for our profession. Much of this content was personally subtitled into Spanish by him and his team, breaking language barriers so that technical and artistic knowledge could be within everyone's reach.

To honor his memory: To remember the professional, but above all, the generous man.
